Jerry Cain holds the title of managing director of Slate Asset Management in Chicago. In this role, he is responsible for the company's capital raising activities. Prior to joining Slate Asset Management, Jerry Cain gained U.S. and global capital raising experience at multiple firms over the course of more than a decade.

Jerry Cain served as senior managing director of the funds advisory practice at JLL in New York. Among his responsibilities, he assisted with capital raising efforts in North America. As a director in the Private Capital Advisory Group at Lazard Freres in New York from 2014 to 2018, he established relationships with North American general partners and real estate professionals to drive distribution solutions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cain managed fundraising for European and North American real estate funds at Harbert Management Corporation.

Among his accreditations, Mr. Cain earned a master of business administration from Northeastern University, with a focus on finance. He also attained a bachelor’s degree in international relations at Roanoke College.
